Reason 2 Live was established after the 26th December 2004 Tsunami. Its aim is to offer the people in Sri Lanka a Reason and a Right to Live...
2 years after the Tsunami, some refugees in Sri Lanka are still living in temporary shelters and are being clothed and fed by their Government, NGO's and Aid Organisations.
Our objective is to re-ignite dignity and pride in those people who have lost everything. With the help of our partner Heart Reach Australia, we plan to focus on one town at a time on the East coast of Sri Lanka and set up Micro Businesses for the Refugees in the Ampare District firstly in a town called Tirrukkovil, creating employment and furthering medical and educational facilities.
With your help and our vision we can turn Sri Lanka into our sister country. How much we help the people of Tirrukkovil will be dependant on how much you help us!
Imagine....... picturesque surf beaches on the east, west and south coast, majestic mountain ranges with wild elephant, monkey, bear & leopard, rainforest covering the interior with waterfalls and National Parks. Thriving with different culture and ways of life. It is not a dream.
